Reese's Arm

On November 1st, Reese was helping me carrying in the groceries from the van to the house. He missed a step, fell and hurt his arm. We didn't know right away how serious it was so we gave him some pain reliever and sent him on to bed. That sounds really bad, doesn't it? We were thankful that he slept through the night but this morning he was in a great deal of pain. He cried a lot so we knew we needed to take him in. So I dropped Brad & Reese off at the urgent care center (because we only have one vehicle) and the young kids and I went on to worship. They did an x-ray and it showed a fracture in his right arm radius. They didn't have all the materials to do a cast today so we will take him in tomorrow. They did put him in a splint to help hold it in place. He is a lefty so he should have no problems with his school work.

Ouch! I'm thankful that you are going to be okay! BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD!

Reese, thank you for being so brave! When you get better and they take your cast off, maybe you can save it! Our Caleb saved his and we still have it!

Ah, poor little guy. Looks like he's being pretty tough. Sounds like Mama is being tough too. :)

Bummer about his arm. I am surprised Clark hasn't broke anything yet with all of his falls. I hope and pray it heals quickly.
