Adelyn's Trip

After Reese's surgery, Adelyn rode with Vicki and Richard to Buena Vista to stay with Mama and Papa Sikes. She was so anxious that she came downstairs with clothes already in her suitcase. Here are some pictures of her preparations of going on her special trip.

She had a great time with Mama and Papa. She continues to talk about her special trip. She played at the park, helped Papa pick up some deer meat, and make cookies with Mama Sikes. All of which we still talk about!!!!!

Reese's Surgery

God is so, so good!! We are singing his praises and thanking him for answering our prayers. Reese had a successful surgery this morning. The doctor removed his tonsils and adenoids.

We enjoyed some time singing Blessed Be Your Name and praying before the surgery.

After the surgery this morning, Reese played PS3 with Daddy, took a long nap, ate Vicki's homemade apple jello, read books with Mommy, and here he built a big spaceship with his legos. We have had to tell him to not run and he can't wrestle with Hayden........all things we have caught him doing already!!!! God is so good!!

Disneyland

After Vegas, we drove over to Disneyland. What a fun experience to see the kids be so happy to see all the things they enjoy. Reese saw all Star War things and Lego's, Adelyn met the Princess' and Tinkerbell, and Hayden met Woody!!

We had such a wonderful time and are so grateful to have had a safe trip home. It took us 19 hours to drive from Anaheim, CA to Colorado Springs.

Las Vegas Trip

We recently went on a business trip with Brad to Las Vegas, NV. The kids did amazingly well on the long drive and we had a fun family time.

We really enjoyed seeing the fountains at the Bellagio.

We met our old neighbors from CO at the MGM Grand Hotel.

Our friends John, Sandee, Johnny and Joey.

We spent a day at the pool while Brad was stuck in meetings! :-)

We also took a trip to the Hoover Dam.
