So Proud

I'm so proud of my hard working humble husband for winning the Headquarters Air Force Space Command Civilian of the Year award.
Way to go! I love you so much!

Night Out

The kids and I have been cooped up for several day in the house from the negative degree weather so we decided to go out. We went to Focus on the Family and then to Pei Wei's.

The wardrobe from the Chronicles of Narnia. Come on in...

This was the kids favorite room.
I've been reading The Magician Nephew to Reese. I'm excited to get to The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.
Yes, she did eat all of her noodle bowl!

See the concentration on his face....focus, focus, focus!

Yum!

Ballet

Adelyn started ballet in January. She has a good friend from church that's in her class. This is all new to her but she is starting to get the hang of it.
Getting ready to leave for her first class.

Basketball

Reese started basketball in January. He has improved so much over that last year. It's fun to watch him.

The "I" Date Night

We had some good friends give us the idea of a Letter Date and we did it. We rolled a Scattergories game dice and it came up an "I". We got creative and did things that started with an "I".

We rolled the dice when we were all ready to go. It's a good idea to bring a dictionary or GPS.

We found this "I"talian restaurant in downtown that started with an "I" and it was YUMMY!

We found an "i" sign as we were driving downtown.

We went to a store that sells music and videos.

Went to the "I" section and found this video for only $5!

I know we are stretching it a little but REI has an "I" in it... :-)

And we ended out evening with ICE CREAM!!

It was so much fun and I look forward to many of these dates in the future!
