Happy Halloween

Here is our Batman, Pooh pumpkin and Bee!! Adelyn will probably change and be Cinderella tonight. Reese had a costume parade at school this morning. We had so much fun making crafts, snack time and playing with friends.

We got this idea from Family Fun website for the snack time at school today. It looks like this one is missing some legs.....they got eaten! :) Instead of using peanut butter, we use spreadable cheese. The kids assembled it themselves and had so much fun eating the spiders.

Cox Farms 2008

We went to our local pumpkin patch yesterday. We were so happy that Brad took the day off to be with us. It was a field trip for Reese class. We went on a hay ride, went down big slides, had a picnic lunch and boy did they play hard!!
Here we are with our little complementary pumpkins with the VA state champ pumpkin that weighted in at 1,007 pounds!!

The Collins

We were so thankful to be able to stay with Matthew, Brenda and Lexi. Brenda also went to York College. I hadn't seen here in many years and it was fun to reconnect and be blessed by being with them.
Hi, I'm a Mac!! :)
Hi, I'm a Lexi!
Lexi is one of the cutest little girls!!! She is such a good baby and is blessed with an awesome Mommy & Daddy!!

Uncle Steve & Aunt Patti's

We were SO blessed to be able to spend some time with Uncle Steve & Aunt Patti AND some wonderful church family members. It was so wonderful to meet and get to know them. It is obvious that God is working in Pitman, NJ!

Uncle Steve with the kids.....they had fun playing together!
Hayden getting zerberts from Uncle Steve.
3 girls + 1 sheep = FUN!!

Open House at the Fire House

The kids were SO happy to finally get to visit a fire house. This is not just any fire house though. We drive by this one at least 5 out of the 7 days a week. And they always look to see if the doors are open and if the trucks are in or not. So we got to go inside and enjoy their open house. The kids were dressed up in their fire and police outfit.

Reese driving.
With a fire fighter.
Sorry it's blurry but the kids learned to not put water on a grease fire because this happens.

Reese really liked this fire fighter.

Fun Times

Reese class takes turns bringing snack. Understand that snack is a BIG deal for preschoolers! Reese asked every school day who is suppose to bring snack today! So last week it was his turn and we got a bag together to send it to school. His class name is Buzzy Bees. So I drew a bee on one side and he wrote his name on the other. I wanted to share how he is writing his name.....I love the S. Not bad for a 3 year old.

Here is a another awe moment with the kids playing nicely together in the water.

Adelyn in her new dress. She actually liked the hat! She is in 4 T because of the length. She is growing up.

Counting our Blessings

It takes us about 10-15 min (depending on traffic during & rush hour) to get to our church building. We drive this drive Suns, Mons, Tues, Weds (twice), Thurs, & Fris for worship, bible class and it's also where Reese attends a pre-school program called Stepping Stones. I realize that's a lot of time in the car and what a great opportunity to talk or teach my children since they are contained. :) On the way to the building we usually practice our books of the Bible, how how many books there are, and the divisions. I decided that on the way home we would Count our Blessings. I usually ask Reese about his day at first and then I say, "Let's count our blessings. Reese's turn. Reese what blessing would you like to thank God for?" Some of his response are: playing football with my daddy, school, Mrs. Micky (his teacher), my family, grand parents, bible class, hugs & kisses, trees, fire man, and it goes on. The other day when we left the school, I needed to run to the store and FORGOT to ask Reese and he asked, "Mommy, can we count our blessing?" How sweet! Adelyn also enjoys counting her blessings. Her responses are: Mommy, Daddy, Hayden, Reese, Joy & Hope (her babies), bible class, grand parents, and B-Bek.

Here are the kiddos just before we headed out for worship on Sunday.

Reese is 3, Adelyn is 2 & Hayden is 11 months!!
