Canning Day

Well I put my birthday gift to good use today. Several friends came over and we canned ... and canned ... and canned. We used frozen strawberries and triple berries from Costco. It turned out to be only $2 per jar. It was a lot of fun and made some great memories while doing it.

My friend, Crystal brought her canning pot as well. It made the process go faster.
These have already been filled with jam.

Sarah played games with the kids while we canned. It was so wonderful to have her be in charge of 9 kids ranging in ages of 6 years to 6 months. She had the harder job.
